Hi, my name is Wiggle Worm, and I’m a cuddly, playful, 1 year old girl.  I love to run and play with my human and doggie friends.  They call me a play group “all-star” because I’m so great with the other pups!  Once I get that playfulness out of my system, I love to snuggle and get attention!  Despite my name, I walk well on the leash after I get my “zoomies” out, and all the volunteers say I’m sweet as pie!  Please come to BARCS to meet me today!

Hi, I’m Benji!  I’m a fun loving, silly, 1 ½ year old boy who brings smiles to the faces of everyone I meet.  I enjoy running laps around the play yard, periodically checking in with my person as if to say “Look at me!  This is so fun!  Why aren’t you running and jumping, too?”  Once I finish my “zoomies” I’m content to hang out and snuggle, or learn some new obedience skills.  If you’re looking for an active, happy-go-lucky buddy, please come meet me at BARCS today!

Hi, I’m Clifford!  I’m an energetic, 1 ½ year old boy that loves to run and play.  I’m friendly and affectionate, and I really soak up the attention I get from any human friends.  I also have a blast playing with my doggie friends in Play Group.  I love to learn, so it’d be great if you can take the time to teach my all kinds of new things – it’d be a shame to let this talented brain of mine go to waste!   I’ve also been told that I’m very handsome, whatever that means!  Please come meet me today at BARCS!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact Joe at JMiletti@barcsanimalshelter.org or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
