Hi, I’m Macaw! That’s me on the right playing with my friend Ozzie (he’s also available for adoption!). I’m a 1 year old, gentle, sweet and loving girl who absolutely loves to cuddle right up to you! I love to run around and play, but I also know how to walk nicely on a leash. Everyone says I’m fabulous with my doggie friends in Play Group…I’m always smiling my big, happy smile, and I’m lots of fun! Please come to BARCS to meet me today!
Hi everybody, my name is Ozzie! I’m an affectionate, energetic, 3 year old boy looking for his forever home. I love to run and play with my human and doggie friends. I have a snuggly side, too, and really enjoy my belly rubs! I’m a smart boy that loves to learn and I pick up on training quickly; I just need someone to teach me all the things I need to know. I recently went tailgating with a few volunteers, and I charmed everyone that I met, including the kids. I’ve been waiting a really long time for my forever home – please come meet me at BARCS today! Update: Ozzie has been adopted!
Hello, my name is Brazil! I’m a silly, adorable, 2 year old girl that loves to play with my tennis ball! After I catch it I’ll flip over on my back and wiggle around with glee while I hold the ball in my paws – everyone gets a kick out of that! The volunteers here love to take me for walks because I’m gentle and calm and easy to walk on a leash. I really enjoy pets and scratches and some cuddle time as well. I’m also pretty darn cute with my little under-bite. I’m an all-around great dog who is just waiting for her forever family! Please come to BARCS to meet me today!
Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations. If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230. For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi. BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm. Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.
