Arod

Hi, I’m Arod! I am an affectionate, happy 2-year-old boy who will make an awesome sidekick. I can walk nicely on leash and I know basic commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “down.” I am very smart and eager to please. As you can tell from my pictures, I’ll even wear silly outfits if it makes you happy. Come to BARCS to meet me today!

Ghostrider

Hi! My name is Ghostrider, and I like to think of myself as a little ball of love! I’m a 1 ½ year old petite girl with a face that will make you fall in love instantly! I really like making friends and going on walks. I am pretty good on the leash and have very nice manners when taking treats and playing. I’m a staff and volunteer favorite around here, or so I’ve heard Image may be NSFW.

Hi, I’m 5 year old Blazer! I love to play and to climb the obstacles we have here at the shelter, get some belly rubs, and then cuddle up in your lap and give you kisses. I know how to sit, and I’ll quickly learn lots of other stuff if you reward me with treats (they are my favorite!). I am a confident, fun-loving girl who can’t wait to join you on all of your adventures – come meet me today!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact info@baltimoreanimalshelter.org or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
