Hi, my name is John! I’m a 4 year old love bug, and I’m just about the cutest guy you’ve ever seen! I’m an all-around happy boy that gives amazing kisses and loves to snuggle. I’m really good on the leash and very affectionate – everyone loves to take me for a walk. I’m also great with my doggie friends in play group. Please come to BARCS to meet me today!
Hi, I’m Simba! I’m a volunteer and staff favorite here at BARCS. I’m 4 ½ years old, I’m very sweet and gentle, and I love attention from people. I know “sit,” and I love cuddles, scratches, and kisses! I’m excellent walking on the leash, and have a very mellow personality. I’m calm and gentle when taking treats, and I wag, wag, wag my little nubby tail! I’m very dog friendly and tolerant with other dogs, even when they act silly. I’m waiting for a loving forever home – please come to BARCS and meet me today!
Hi, my name is Rupert, and I’m a sweet 5 year old boy. I’m very well mannered, and the volunteers love to take me out because I walk well on a leash. I take treats gently & just want to kiss & cuddle – they call me a love bug! I even gently licked a baby’s face when I met a family here at the shelter. I enjoy the company of other dogs. I love everyone I meet and the feeling is always mutual – please come to BARCS to meet me today!
Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations. If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230. For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi. BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm. Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.
For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact Joe at JMiletti@barcsanimalshelter.org or visit the website.
