enzoEnzo

Hi, I’m Enzo! I’m a silly 3 year old boy that doesn’t even mind to play dress-up! I’m such a happy-go-lucky guy that I’ll play with just about anyone and anything, including all by myself. I’m learning to walk nicely on my leash, and I’d love for you to teach me more. My favorite thing is to play with other dogs. I love to make new friends in the play yard here, and I can entice all the other pups to play with me. I also love to get belly rubs and give big kisses if you’ll let me! Please come to BARCS to meet me today!

CarmelaCarmela

Hi, I’m 6 year old Carmela, and I’ve been told I’m just a doll!! I looove to just sit next to you and cuddle. I’ve even been known to stop for a snuggle mid-walk! I enjoy being outside and I’m a dream while walking on a leash. I’m curious of my surroundings, and I even enjoyed a hike in the woods recently – it was so much fun! I was great in the car, too. I’m very attentive to my handler, and I love treats, so training is fun. I will make such a great companion – I love to have a good time, and then I love to relax, curl up & watch a good movie! Please come to BARCS to meet me today!

PicaloPicalo

Hi, I’m 1 year old Picalo!! I’m incredibly goofy and sweet. I love to snuggle, and I’ll even climb up in your lap if you let me. I’m very attentive to my handler – I readily sit for treats, I’m working on my leash skills, and I’d love for you to teach me new things. I enjoy rolling all around the yard, and then playing with the rope toys. I recently went on an outing to walk all around Canton, and I was great! I met lots of nice people and was very polite. I also have a blast playing with the other dogs. Please come to BARCS to meet me today!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact info@baltimoreanimalshelter.org or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
