Brownie Boy

Brownie Boy 1 Meet Brownie Boy! He has never met a tennis ball he didn’t love! This beautiful boy loves playing fetch and will patiently wait at your feet (staring at the ball) for the next throw. He is happy to fetch the ball as many times as you will throw it. When he’s not playing with a tennis ball outside with staff or volunteers, he is most likely playing with one in his kennel! Brownie Boy is 5 years old, housebroken, knows “sit” and “leave it”, and very eager to be adopted! This boy is waiting patiently at the shelter and ready to be in his own home. Come to BARCS to meet him today! http://www.petango.com/Adopt/Dog-Terrier-Pit-Bull-Mix-15866704.

Chiffon

chiffonChiffon is a complete love-bug with a soft, gentle disposition. This 3 year old beauty loves affection and cuddles, and is content to sit with her human friends and just enjoy the day. She’d love to spend a few hours on the couch with you watching a game! Chiffon is a wiggle-butt and her whole demeanor lights up when she sees someone walk by her kennel for a visit. Please come to BARCS today to meet this sweet girl today. http://www.petango.com/Adopt/Dog-Terrier-Pit-Bull-Mix-25136820.

Nabisco

nabiscoAre you looking for a new best pal that loves to cuddle up and watch the game? If so, Nabisco is the dog for you! He is so incredibly sweet, and as soon as you get close enough, he just wants to give you a hug! He came in as a stray with some old scars, but his sweet personality shows he’s no worse for the wear! This 5 year old sweetheart would love to get out of the shelter and into a home, so come to BARCS to meet him today!  http://www.petango.com/Adopt/Dog-Terrier-Pit-Bull-Mix-25247245.

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact info@baltimoreanimalshelter.org or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
