Hi, I’m Eve and I’m a petite, 2 ½ year old little lady. Some of my volunteer friends call me a “pocket pittie” because of my small stature – as you can see from my picture, they like to carry me around and I have to admit I kind of like it, too! I really, really enjoy when they take me outside and I get to sniff all around the grass and the play yard, just taking in all the fresh air and smells. The volunteers get a real kick out of me when they scratch my butt and I get so excited I just start doing zoomies all around. When I first got to the shelter I kind of kept to myself, but now I’m coming out of my shell and letting my personality shine through. I’d really love to have a home to call my own, so I could totally relax and show you just how much personality and love I have in my heart to share with my forever family. Please come meet me today!
Hi, I’m Arlene! I’m a very sweet, calm 2 ½ year old girl. I get so happy when someone comes to visit me in my kennel, and I greet them with a wagging tail and a big smile. The volunteers here love to take me out for a stroll because I’m such a good girl on the leash. I’m very interested in all the sights and smells, but I don’t pull at all and I’m very calm when other dogs pass us by. I like to hang out and socialize with the other dogs here at BARCS in our play group. I even tolerate those energetic little whippersnappers; I stay on the outskirts, and check back in with my human friends for some back scratches! You see, I’m just an easygoing girl. I know sit, and I’d love to learn even more from my forever family. Please come down to BARCS and meet me today!
Hi! My name is Eleanor and I’m an energetic, fun-loving, 2 year old girl! I love running zoomies out in the play yard! I also love exploring the agility equipment and have already learned to go through the tunnel and jump over the hurdles – I’m very adventurous! I also know how to sit and am eager to learn so much more. As you can see, I’m a very smart little girl who would be easy to train. I’m also very friendly and just love getting attention from my volunteer friends here at the shelter. Recently I went to a Ravens tailgate; I met lots of people and was very well behaved even with all of the crowds and noise. Won’t you please come down to BARCS to meet me today?
Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.
